Occupational Therapist School Setting in Derry, NH

We are seeking two Occupational Therapists to join a collaborative environment serving K-12 students. This full-time role offers 35-37.5 hours per week from August 2026 through June 2027. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to a diverse K-12 student caseload.
• Assess students’ functional skills and create individualized treatment plans to address needs in gross and fine motor development, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure goals are effectively integrated into the school environment.
• Travel between schools within the district, adapting to varied settings and schedules.
• Integrate assistive technology and AAC devices into therapy as needed.
• Maintain thorough records and participate in IEP meetings and related documentation.
• Remain flexible as assignments and schedules may shift throughout the year.

Qualifications:

• Valid license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Previous experience supporting students in a school-based setting preferred.
• Familiarity with assistive technology and AAC devices is a plus.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple school locations and with a varied caseload.
