Key Details:
- Orientation scheduled for Friday, June 5
- Work collaboratively from Monday, June 8 to Friday, June 26 (with Friday, June 19 off)
- Student attendance from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; staff hours from 8:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong experience in school-based OT, healthcare, or home health settings
- Skilled in supporting fine and gross motor skill development in children and adolescents
- Licensed Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Background in managing caseloads across diverse age groups, ideally PreK through high school
- Creative, adaptable, and collaborative approach to working with students and school teams
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging OT interventions tailored to students’ individual needs and group goals
- Collaborate with educators and families to integrate therapy into the educational environment
- Monitor, track, and communicate student progress in both formal reports and team meetings
- Foster a supportive, encouraging atmosphere that promotes student independence and participation
