Details of available positions:
Position 1:
- Two full-time, non-concurrent leaves at elementary schools
- Serve the entire school year
- Assignments in Glen Ellyn area
- Schedule: 35+ hours per week
Position 2:
- Elementary school setting
- Full-time maternity leave coverage from October through April
- Located in the Bloomingdale area
- Schedule: 35+ hours per week
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Illinois
- Strong desire to work in educational settings
- Previous experience with pediatric or school-based therapy preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Willingness to adapt approaches to meet a range of student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide training and resources to school personnel as needed
- Promote skill development for students to succeed in the classroom
