You’ll enjoy the diversity of an itinerant assignment, working across multiple schools in the district and serving students from Pre-K to Transition age (up to 22 years). This contract-based opportunity suits professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and want to make a meaningful impact at every level—elementary, middle, and high school.

In this all on-site position, your day-to-day will be engaging and varied. Each week, expect to work 35-37.5 hours, with schedules reflecting the unique rhythms of different campuses. You'll collaborate closely with fellow educators, help build and implement individualized interventions, and support students of all abilities in developing the foundational and functional skills they need for success in school and beyond.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current/active clinical license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
  • Current/active educator license from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
  • Previous experience in a school-based occupational therapy setting is strongly preferred.
  • Flexibility to travel between multiple schools within the district.
  • Must complete required fingerprinting.
  • Commitment to providing services on-site—remote options are not offered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a range of needs.
  • Deliver direct therapy, consultation, and support to students, teachers, and families.
  • Monitor and track student progress.
  • Collaborate as part of multidisciplinary educational teams.
  • Travel between assigned district school sites as needed.
