Qualifications & Experience:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Michigan, or eligible for licensure
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of OT best practices, particularly within a classroom environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with educators and school leadership
  • Passion for supporting children’s learning, growth, and independence

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and create individualized therapy plans tailored to elementary school-aged students
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services within general and special education settings
  • Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust plans as necessary
  • Coordinate with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate effective interventions
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plan (IEP) processes
