Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Michigan
• Experience or strong interest in school-based OT services
• Ability to individualize therapy plans for students in diverse and multicultural settings
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Flexible, adaptable, and eager to work across different school locations as needed

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to students, addressing fine motor skills, sensory integration, adaptive techniques, and functional abilities
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals in partnership with teachers and families
• Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
• Offer consultative support and training for staff to foster inclusive classroom environments
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet the specific needs and strengths of each school site
