Desired Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Occupational Therapy licensure in Michigan
  • Experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEPs and goal-setting for students with diverse needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as an engaged member of a multidisciplinary school team
  • Organized, flexible, and proactive approach to managing caseloads

Responsibilities You'll Undertake:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ strengths and functional needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve student access and participation in classroom activities
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, both individually and in groups
  • Document assessments, progress, and outcomes in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, aides, and administration to provide strategies and accommodations that support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute positively to student-centered planning
