This contract role involves working with a diverse student population across elementary, middle, and high school grades. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Previous experience within school environments preferred
  • Comfortable supporting students across multiple grade levels (K-12)
  • Ability to develop and adapt individualized treatment plans for varying needs
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff, parents, and administrators
  • A commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted occupational therapy services to students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and document progress
  • Implement direct 1:1 therapy sessions as well as group interventions
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals into daily classroom activities
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
  • Offer training and resources to teachers and families to help generalize skills
  • Maintain detailed, compliant documentation of all student interactions and therapy outcomes
