About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated school-based therapist to support high school students in the Detroit, Michigan area. This is a flexible part-time opportunity offering the potential to work remotely or onsite, depending on the candidate's preference and position requirements.
Position Highlights
- Provide therapeutic services to a high school caseload.
- Support approximately 8 students, with the caseload subject to change.
- Work approximately 10 hours per week.
- School hours are approximately 9:00 AM–2:30 PM.
- If working onsite, support students across four schools located within approximately 10 minutes of one another.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and other members of the educational team.
- Provide individualized support based on student needs and educational goals.
- Position begins ASAP and continues through the end of the school year.
- Flexible remote or onsite work opportunity.
Qualifications
- Appropriate degree and licensure/certification for the therapy discipline.
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with the school team.
- Passion for supporting high school students and helping them succeed in the educational environment.
