Your experience in school-based occupational therapy will empower you to help students overcome barriers, develop essential life skills, and achieve their fullest potential throughout the school year.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid Georgia licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Previous experience in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in accordance with IEP guidelines
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with students, educators, and families
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy to students with diverse needs
  • Evaluate and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with special education teams to craft and implement IEPs
  • Educate and support teachers and staff with strategies to help students succeed in the classroom
  • Maintain accurate and timely records as required by school district standards
