Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state or willingness to obtain
• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to address diverse student needs
• Commitment to fostering student growth and independence

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine student needs and progress
• Develop and implement personalized treatment and intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student learning and participation in the classroom
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and provide consultative support as needed
• Advocate for students’ occupational needs and promote an inclusive, supportive environment
