With a full-time contract opportunity available covering maternity leave from January to the end of April, you'll play an essential part in the growth and development of approximately 35 preschool students near the Dover, NH area.
Your expertise will help children reach their milestones while you collaborate within a positive, multidisciplinary team environment dedicated to student success.
What You’ll Bring:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience or strong interest in working within school settings, specifically with preschool or early childhood populations
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, support personnel, families, and administrators
- Knowledge of IEP processes, conducting evaluations, and writing effective reports
- Adaptability, patience, and a passion for fostering independence in young learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to preschool students, supporting their functional participation in the classroom
- Assess students’ needs through standardized and informal assessments
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Document progress and contribute to IEP goals and meetings
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other specialists to integrate strategies across various learning activities
- Provide consultation and resources to families and educators
