School Occupational Therapist - Dover, Pennsylvania

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as an onsite Occupational Therapist. In this role, you will work primarily with high school and elementary-aged students across two campuses, helping them achieve their educational and developmental goals. Your expertise will play a critical part in fostering student independence and success within the school environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Occupational Therapist (OT) certification required
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric, school-based OT services
• Previous exposure to working with high school and elementary school populations preferred
• Superb organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Dedication to evidence-based, student-centered therapy practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services directly to students onsite, in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote the student’s participation and performance in the classroom
• Evaluate students’ needs, create and update intervention plans, and document progress
• Manage a caseload across two schools, ensuring effective time management and high-quality support
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing relevant assessments and updates
• Educate school personnel and families on therapeutic strategies and interventions

This contract follows a traditional school schedule, with approximately 35 hours per week from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The role begins as soon as possible and runs through May 28, 2027, offering the ability to impact students’ lives across multiple school years.
