Occupational Therapist School Setting - Doylestown, PA

Step into an engaging contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist, working with an elementary-age caseload in a dynamic school environment. This full-time position begins as soon as possible and extends through mid-March. Flexibility is available for those seeking part-time work as well, with consideration for two part-time therapists to share the caseload.

Your role will center on helping students reach their fullest potential by addressing fine motor skills, sensory needs, and overall independence within the elementary school setting. Experience in school-based occupational therapy will be invaluable as you collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to implement individualized therapy plans and foster a supportive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Pennsylvania
• Demonstrated experience or strong interest in school-based OT
• Background working with elementary-aged children strongly preferred
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Collaborative mindset for working with multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to best practices and ethical standards in therapy

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students to determine needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct OT services within the school setting, both individually and in small groups
• Document student progress, maintain timely records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success in the classroom
• Adapt interventions to fit remote or in-person formats, as needed
