School Occupational Therapist | Dubach, Louisiana

A part-time contract opportunity is available for a qualified OT skilled in supporting students of all ages at multiple schools near Dubach, LA. This position spans four school sites and offers a unique, varied environment for someone passionate about student success and progress.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Louisiana
• Demonstrated experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy
• Willingness and ability to supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Comfortable working across multiple school campuses
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to perform PreK evaluations
• Previous teletherapy experience (preferred, not required)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students across four schools: Castor HS, Gibsland HS, Arcadia HS, and Crawford Elementary
• Provide therapy sessions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with PreK evaluations scheduled on Fridays
• Oversee and provide guidance to a COTA as needed
• Collaborate with education teams, families, and staff to set and achieve student goals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies and regulations
• Support IEP development and participate in relevant school meetings
