Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of 10 students and consultative support to 15 others.
- Conduct thorough assessments and participate in evaluations as required throughout the school year.
- Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
- Manage documentation and contribute to student IEP meetings as needed.
- Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal regulations pertaining to school-based practice.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and balance responsibilities across two primary school locations.
- Flexibility to accommodate a part-time schedule that can complement clinical work.
- Capacity to complete VA Dept. of Social Services background check and TB test promptly.
