Contribute as an Occupational Therapist, providing both direct and consultative services to a diverse caseload in middle school environments, with potential for additional assignments in an elementary school. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of 10 students and consultative support to 15 others.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and participate in evaluations as required throughout the school year.
  • Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
  • Manage documentation and contribute to student IEP meetings as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal regulations pertaining to school-based practice.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and balance responsibilities across two primary school locations.
  • Flexibility to accommodate a part-time schedule that can complement clinical work.
  • Capacity to complete VA Dept. of Social Services background check and TB test promptly.
