Occupational Therapist School Setting - Eden Prairie, MN

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure for school-based practice
• Experience working with adolescents in a scholastic environment preferred
• Proficiency in conducting assessments and creating student-centered intervention plans
• Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
• Flexibility to travel between two nearby high school locations

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services as outlined in students’ IEPs
• Conduct assessments to identify students’ fine motor, sensory, and adaptive needs
• Develop and implement individualized intervention programs
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to ensure effective strategies
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress documentation
• Foster independence and functional skill-building in students to support academic success
• Adapt therapy methods and support plans for classroom integration
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with school district guidelines
