Seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist with a passion for supporting students across diverse educational environments. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals eager to make a difference for children requiring specialized intervention. Positions offer a weekly schedule of 35-40 hours, with primary coverage in two schools in the St. Paul area. Each caseload involves fewer than 15 students per school, allowing for a focused and impactful service model. Your expertise will be valued as you provide two dedicated days per school to meet IEP requirements, with the possibility of an additional half-day for meetings and documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license and certification
- Experience working in school settings, home health, teletherapy, and general healthcare environments
- Proficiency with IEP development and compliance
- Strong communication skills when collaborating with school teams, families, and external partners
- Ability to travel between two locations as needed
- Adaptable to in-person and remote service delivery models
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy intervention and evaluations to students (less than 15 per school) in accordance with their IEPs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Flexibly manage schedules, including additional time as needed for meetings and paperwork
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to promote student success
