Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working as an OT–preferably in a school setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Familiarity with IEPs, evaluations, and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Commitment to supporting diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills to develop effective intervention plans
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services in accordance with IEP requirements
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and school staff to maximize student participation and success in the classroom
- Maintain clear, organized, and timely documentation for all interventions and progress
- Attend meetings and offer professional insight to multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress, adjust plans as necessary, and provide training or resources as appropriate
