School Occupational Therapist - Edgerton, Wisconsin

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Occupational Therapist eager to make a meaningful difference in a school-based setting. Within this rewarding role, you’ll support elementary-aged students (EC-5th grade) and help them thrive by utilizing your expertise in pediatric occupational therapy. Both full-time (40 hours per week) and part-time positions (0.5 FTE or higher) offer flexibility to fit your needs. The workday runs from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, with some after-hours meetings scheduled during certain weeks for ongoing collaboration and development.

In this contract position, your primary responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to elementary students in person, addressing a variety of individualized needs
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective intervention plans
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families, providing consultation and education as needed
• Track progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school guidelines
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs
• Adapt interventions to meet diverse learning styles and developmental levels

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist license (OT)
• Background in working with pediatric or school-aged populations highly preferred
• Experience in school, healthcare, or home health OT settings an asset
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
• Ability to thrive independently and adapt quickly to changing student needs
• Commitment to providing hands-on, in-person support (remote services are not available for this role)
