Key Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy license and eligibility to practice in Wisconsin
- Previous experience in school-based, healthcare, or home health OT settings
- Strong understanding of pediatric OT, including assessment, intervention, and goal-setting for elementary-aged children
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Energetic, compassionate, and adaptable approach to diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to elementary students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals
- Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Provide ongoing progress reports and collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure integration of strategies in the classroom
- Attend after-hours meetings on select weeks to support students’ progress and team collaboration
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with all school and state guidelines
