Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
  • Previous experience delivering OT services in school environments is highly preferred.
  • Experience or comfort working with students of diverse backgrounds and ages.
  • Strong understanding of both school-based and home health OT practices.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students according to their IEPs.
  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
  • Consult with teachers and staff to integrate OT strategies into the classroom environment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress.
  • Communicate regularly with families and interdisciplinary team members to support students’ overall development.
