Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
- Previous experience delivering OT services in school environments is highly preferred.
- Experience or comfort working with students of diverse backgrounds and ages.
- Strong understanding of both school-based and home health OT practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students according to their IEPs.
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
- Consult with teachers and staff to integrate OT strategies into the classroom environment.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress.
