This contract position spans from October 1st, 2026, to April 15th, 2027, and is based at a single, conveniently located site near Edison, NJ. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state
- Experience in school-based OT practice, home health, or related healthcare settings desired
- Familiarity with evaluations, developing and implementing IEPs, and progress documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills for working with diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across a variety of disabilities
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to integrate therapeutic interventions into classroom routines
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide progress updates, and maintain thorough records
- Contribute insights and strategies to help students maximize their independence and participation in school activities
