Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of child development, sensory processing, and intervention strategies
• Ability to create and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Proficiency in documentation and electronic records
• Comfort working with a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students with varying needs
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to integrate therapy into the classroom
• Monitor and document progress, keeping stakeholders informed
• Educate families and school staff on strategies and accommodations to support students’ success
• Participate in IEP meetings and make recommendations for services or modifications
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to enhance students’ fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills
