Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred
- Familiarity with school-based OT practices
- Ability to efficiently organize workload and prioritize tasks for multiple students
- Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Proficient with IEP documentation and progress tracking
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions aligned with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Develop goals, present levels, and progress updates for the OT portion of IEP paperwork
- Complete Medicaid billing documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student participation and success
- Adapt OT strategies as needed to meet the evolving needs of students
