Make a meaningful impact by supporting students’ growth and development as a contract Occupational Therapist on a part-time basis. This opportunity focuses on providing essential occupational therapy services to school-aged children, fostering their participation and success in academic and social settings for two days per week.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid OT licensure or eligibility to practice as an OT within the state
  • Experience working with school-aged children or in educational settings
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes, sensory integration, and therapeutic interventions
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt interventions to varied student needs and learning environments
  • Collaborative, flexible, and committed to supporting diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and participate in multi-disciplinary evaluations to determine student needs
  • Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student progress and access to the curriculum
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation and progress notes
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development of supportive environments
  • Provide strategies and training to school staff and caregivers for student success
