Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license (California)
  • Experience in school-based settings is highly valued
  • Ability to provide OT services across a range of ages, from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, staff, and families
  • Commitment to supporting student growth, independence, and participation in school activities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ motor, sensory, and adaptive needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans aligned with student IEP goals
  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students one-on-one or in small group settings
  • Maintain clear documentation of all evaluations, interventions, and progress
  • Consult with teachers and staff to support classroom adaptations and inclusive learning
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams
