Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license (California)
- Experience in school-based settings is highly valued
- Ability to provide OT services across a range of ages, from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Commitment to supporting student growth, independence, and participation in school activities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ motor, sensory, and adaptive needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans aligned with student IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students one-on-one or in small group settings
- Maintain clear documentation of all evaluations, interventions, and progress
- Consult with teachers and staff to support classroom adaptations and inclusive learning
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams
