School Occupational Therapist - El Prado, New Mexico

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active New Mexico OT license required
• Current NPI and Medicaid provider number
• Prior school-based OT experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with supporting K-12 students across diverse needs

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to a district-wide K-12 caseload (approximately 30-35 students)
• Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and implement interventions
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student success
• Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings
• Utilize evidence-based practices to address fine motor, sensory, self-care, and access-to-curriculum needs
• Travel to assigned schools within the district as needed
