In this role, you will collaborate with educators and families to deliver a range of occupational therapy services for K-12 students. No two days will be the same as you adapt strategies to help students thrive, whether you are providing in-class support, teletherapy, or working in a variety of settings from schools to home health. Requirements:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy
- Active Illinois OT license (or pending application, if nearing completion)
- ASHA certification and relevant credentials for school-based practice
- Experience in school, teletherapy, healthcare, or home health settings preferred
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with K-12 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver individualized occupational therapy services to elementary and K-12 students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to develop and implement IEP goals
- Document progress and maintain comprehensive records of student services
- Use current best practices in teletherapy, home health, and in-person school-based interventions
- Support students in achieving independence and academic success
