Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy completed or in progress
  • Active Illinois Occupational Therapy state license, or the ability to obtain before assignment start
  • Strong background in school-based therapy, healthcare, home health, and/or teletherapy settings
  • Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly desirable
  • Passion for fostering student development and collaborating with education professionals

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload, including assessment, goal-setting, and individualized interventions
  • Support student participation in school activities by enhancing motor skills, self-care, and adaptive functioning
  • Maintain clear and organized documentation, reporting progress, and collaborating with IEP teams
  • Partner with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure students receive comprehensive support tailored to their needs
  • Implement therapy sessions in-person and, when required, participate in teletherapy models
