This contract role offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility to consider part-time candidates as well. This opportunity runs from ASAP through May 29, 2026, with the potential for extension.

  • Active Illinois OT licensure and certification
  • Experience with elementary-age children in school or clinical settings

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and therapy team
  • Organized, dependable, and flexible approach to dynamic school settings

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary students in both resource and self-contained classrooms
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in partnership with team members
  • Assess students’ needs, document progress, and adjust strategies to promote skill development
  • Participate in monthly meetings, roundtable discussions, and regular 1:1 check-ins with supervisors
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to advance your school-based OT practice
  • Provide input for process improvement and best practices across the school community
