Step into a meaningful opportunity providing school-based occupational therapy for elementary and middle school students. This full-time contract role covers an FMLA leave and runs from August 7, 2026, through October 15, 2026. Orientation begins August 3 and 4, ensuring you're well-prepared to work onsite and make a positive impact from day one.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid OT license for the state, with experience supporting school-aged children in resource or self-contained settings
  • Knowledgeable in school-based OT practices, including intervention for students in elementary and middle schools
  • Able to collaborate with educators, staff, and families to foster student progress
  • Strong interpersonal and advocacy skills, with a commitment to evidence-based interventions

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Deliver direct therapy and assessments to students as outlined in IEPs
  • Monitor student progress, documenting outcomes and adapting approaches as needed
  • Consult, collaborate, and communicate with teachers and families
  • Participate in IEP meetings and case conferences, sharing insights and recommendations
  • Utilize available equipment and testing materials to support your work
  • Connect with supervisors and colleagues through scheduled meetings and informal check-ins
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute ideas during process improvement initiatives
