This full-time, onsite role spans from September 1, 2026, through January 15, 2027, and calls for a highly skilled Occupational Therapist with a passion for educational settings.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current and active Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
  • Previous experience working within school environments (high school level preferred)
  • Ability to work onsite and engage students within the school setting
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
  • Candidates must be licensed Occupational Therapists (COTAs not eligible)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify student needs and strengths
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique goals
  • Deliver direct, evidence-based therapy services in accordance with IEP requirements
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports as required
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights as part of the multidisciplinary team
  • Offer consultation and support to teachers, administrators, and families to enhance student outcomes
