Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current, active Illinois Occupational Therapy license required
- Previous experience working within a school setting (high school preferred)
- Ability and willingness to work onsite throughout the assignment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- No COTAs will be considered for this role; licensed OTs only
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an empathetic and student-centered approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy to high school students
- Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) in coordination with educators and families
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation to monitor progress and compliance
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student success in both academic and daily living activities
- Participate in school-based team meetings and professional development
