This position runs from September 1, 2026, through January 15, 2027, offering a rich experience in a collaborative high school setting near Elgin, IL. You will work onsite with dedicated staff and motivated students, contributing your expertise to help them reach their potential.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current, active Illinois Occupational Therapy license required
  • Previous experience working within a school setting (high school preferred)
  • Ability and willingness to work onsite throughout the assignment
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • No COTAs will be considered for this role; licensed OTs only
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an empathetic and student-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy to high school students
  • Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) in coordination with educators and families
  • Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation to monitor progress and compliance
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student success in both academic and daily living activities
  • Participate in school-based team meetings and professional development
