Step into a dynamic educational environment as an Occupational Therapist supporting students across elementary and high school levels on a full-time contract basis. This onsite role, located in the Elgin, IL area, runs from September 8, 2026 through January 8, 2027, providing FMLA coverage for a diverse caseload of high school and elementary-aged students.

You’ll benefit from ongoing professional support, including direct access to a same-discipline supervisor for meaningful mentorship and prompt assistance with clinical questions. New hires can look forward to a dedicated “Buddy Program” to ensure a smooth and comprehensive orientation, making your transition seamless.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid OT licensure in Illinois
  • Experience working with elementary and high school-aged students, ideally in a school-based setting
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work onsite for the duration of the contract

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to both elementary and high school students
  • Assess students, develop intervention strategies, and monitor progress aligned with educational plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational documentation as required
  • Engage in monthly meetings, roundtable discussions, and process improvement initiatives
  • Attend regular 1:1 check-ins and team meetings with leadership
