Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid Illinois OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional needs
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in accordance with IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ participation in educational activities
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and reports
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services in classroom, small group, and one-on-one settings
  • Participate in IEP meetings to provide clinical insight and progress updates
  • Adapt interventions and strategies to meet the diverse needs of the student population
