Exciting opportunities await talented Occupational Therapists near Elizabeth, NJ! We are looking for two dynamic professionals ready to make a meaningful impact in a school setting, with assignment durations extending through June of 2027. This position offers the rewarding chance to support a diverse group of students, with caseloads ranging from preschool through eighth grade, covering a combined total of 59 students to be shared between two OTs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current, valid OT license and credentials appropriate for school-based practice
  • Prior experience in a school environment or pediatric OT setting is highly desirable
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage documentation and time efficiently
  • Ability to collaborate with other professionals, educators, and family members
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability to support a wide age range of students

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services within school environments, meeting individual student needs
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans for students across grades P-8
  • Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and progress reports in accordance with school standards
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to integrate therapy goals into students’ educational plans
  • Split a balanced caseload with another OT to ensure comprehensive support for all assigned students
  • Engage in IEP meetings, team consultations, and ongoing professional development
