We are looking for two dynamic professionals ready to make a meaningful impact in a school setting, with assignment durations extending through June of 2027. This position offers the rewarding chance to support a diverse group of students, with caseloads ranging from preschool through eighth grade, covering a combined total of 59 students to be shared between two OTs.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, valid OT license and credentials appropriate for school-based practice
- Prior experience in a school environment or pediatric OT setting is highly desirable
- Excellent organizational skills to manage documentation and time efficiently
- Ability to collaborate with other professionals, educators, and family members
- Strong communication skills and adaptability to support a wide age range of students
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services within school environments, meeting individual student needs
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans for students across grades P-8
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and progress reports in accordance with school standards
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to integrate therapy goals into students’ educational plans
- Split a balanced caseload with another OT to ensure comprehensive support for all assigned students
- Engage in IEP meetings, team consultations, and ongoing professional development
