Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license
  • Experience with pediatric or school-based occupational therapy preferred
  • Ability to assess and address a variety of student needs, including fine/gross motor skills, sensory processing, and classroom participation
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Organized, adaptable, and motivated to create positive outcomes for students

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive OT assessments to identify students’ needs within the school setting
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals and IEP requirements
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual or group settings
  • Document progress notes and maintain accurate student records
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to maximize student engagement and participation
  • Offer guidance and strategies to classroom staff to support accommodations and modifications
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations based on assessments and ongoing observations
