Key Qualifications:

• Valid license to practice occupational therapy
• Previous experience with school-based OT or equivalent pediatric experience
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and goals
• Ability to adapt and individualize interventions for diverse student populations
• Effective communication and case management skills
• Dedication to maintaining a positive, motivating presence in the school setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services within the school environment
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families on student progress and therapy goals
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes efficiently and accurately
• Participate in IEP meetings and support compliance with educational requirements
• Modify activities and environments to support student inclusion and participation
• Provide recommendations and training to staff for classroom adaptations
