Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
  • Strong understanding of IEPs and collaboration with educational staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs.

Location:

  • Elk Grove, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative Occupational Therapy services to a caseload of 50 students.
  • Assess student needs and develop individualized therapy plans in collaboration with teachers and other professionals.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to facilitate access to the educational curriculum for all students.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy goals as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with families regarding student development.
  • Stay current with best practices and trends in school-based therapy.
