Occupational Therapist School Setting - Elk Grove, CA

This opportunity begins August 11th and extends through June 10th, with the possibility to continue into the 2025-2026 school year. The assignment is located near Elk Grove, CA—within an accessible and welcoming school setting.

Qualifications:

• Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California (OTR/L)
• School-based OT experience or a strong interest in working within educational settings
• Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
• Experience or familiarity working with general education and mild/moderate special education populations
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Commitment to cultural sensitivity and supporting a diverse student population

Responsibilities:

• Complete evaluations, develop IEP goals, and implement therapy for students aged 5-18
• Provide both direct services and consultative support to educators and families
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations
• Contribute to IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations
• Collaborate with classroom staff to ensure therapy strategies are integrated in daily learning
• Support the overall well-being and independence of each student served
