Step into a rewarding role supporting high school students as an onsite Occupational Therapist for a maternity leave coverage assignment during the 26/27 school year. You’ll manage a caseload of four high schools, providing essential OT services that promote student growth and development during a key period. The assignment is anticipated to run from approximately September 2, 2026, through February 1, 2027, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. This is an excellent fit for OT professionals seeking a meaningful, school-based placement where they can apply their skills among teenagers and young adults.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Minnesota OT license (must be attached with application)
  • Experience as a school-based Occupational Therapist, particularly at the secondary (high school) level
  • Ability to work onsite and adapt to multiple campus environments
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
  • Comfortable and professional covering maternity leave assignments
  • Dedicated to fostering inclusion and student independence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ needs and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver direct OT sessions within school settings
  • Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to support IEP goals
  • Maintain timely and accurate records and progress documentation
  • Support students in building functional skills for academic and daily living success
  • Participate actively in multi-disciplinary meetings
