Elementary School Occupational Therapist | Elkhart, Indiana

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility for licensure) in Indiana
• Previous experience or strong interest in working with elementary school-aged children
• Ability to assess, design, and implement individualized treatment plans within a school curriculum
• Skilled in maintaining clear communication with students, staff, and families
• Adaptable, organized, and able to balance a full-time, onsite caseload
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary school students
• Evaluate students referred for services and document findings
• Develop and implement individualized goals and interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administration
• Consult with families and caregivers regarding student progress and strategies for home
• Maintain compliance with all documentation and reporting requirements
• Support an inclusive and engaging learning environment
