Qualifications & Desired Background:

  • Active state Occupational Therapy license or eligibility
  • Proven experience in school, home health, or pediatric healthcare settings
  • Understanding of best practices in OT service delivery for PreK-8th grade students
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience in developing and monitoring individualized therapy plans

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and implement tailored occupational therapy interventions
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress and classroom participation
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in adherence with regulations
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
  • Support students in developing functional skills that enhance their academic and daily living success
