Key Qualifications:
- Active Maryland OT or COTA license required
- Experience supporting students in school-based settings, with a focus on elementary age groups
- Comfortable working with diverse caseloads, including high-level autism, communication needs, and behavior challenges
- Able to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and support staff
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy services to students in grades Pre-K through 5th, focusing on academic life skills and individualized student goals
- Assess students to identify needs related to fine motor, sensory integration, self-regulation, and adaptive skills
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct both direct services (21 hours weekly) and indirect consults as determined by caseload
- Set your own daily schedule with oversight and approval from the building administrator, allowing flexibility in your workday
- Collaborate with a district that provides excellent behavioral and communication supports
- Travel between multiple schools possible, with specifics discussed during your interview
