What You’ll Bring:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active and current Occupational Therapy license/certification for the state of Maryland
- Previous school-based experience is highly preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Passion for working with children and adolescents across diverse backgrounds
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt therapy approaches within an educational setting
- Willingness to work onsite throughout the school year
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students, addressing their individual needs and IEP goals
- Assess, plan, and implement interventions for K-12 students, adapting therapies to fit a dynamic school environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings as an essential contributor to students’ educational planning
- Foster positive partnerships with teachers, staff, and families
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations for school-based therapy
