• OT: $45-$50 per hour, based on experience
• COTA: $38-$42 per hour, based on experience

A school program in Ellicott City, Maryland is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join its team. This onsite opportunity serves a K-12 student population in a year-round school with a primary focus on supporting students with autism. The position begins as a 3-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments (OT).
• Provide direct therapy services and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.

Caseload

• K-12 student population
• Year-round school
• Primarily students with autism

Qualifications

• Active Maryland OT or COTA license.
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Onsite position only.

Additional Information

• Full-time preferred; part-time candidates will be considered if available on Thursdays and Fridays.
• Onsite interviews only so candidates can tour the school and meet the student population.
• Opportunity to transition to a permanent district position after a 3-month contract.
