School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)

A school center near Ellicott City, Maryland is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for an immediate opening. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with students in grades 8-12 in a supportive educational environment focused on helping students build functional skills for success in school and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.

Caseload

• Grades 8-12 (ages 13-21)
• Approximately 15-17 direct service hours per week, plus consultative services
• Wednesdays are half days for students, with dedicated time for documentation, meetings, and planning

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Occupational Therapist license.
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Education

• Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
