Qualifications:
- Active Maryland OT license required (will consider strong COTA candidates with appropriate credentials)
- Experience in school-based OT preferred, particularly with academic life skills, autism, and communication/behavioral supports
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to different school environments and caseloads
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services directly to elementary-aged children (ages 3–5th grade)
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized therapy plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Work across several schools as needed (final details discussed in interview)
- Utilize district’s strong mentor program for support and ongoing development
