Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in Maine (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students to determine therapy needs and individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Develop and implement effective intervention plans tailored to each student’s unique abilities and challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success in both classroom and community settings
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in line with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations for services and accommodations
  • Provide training and resources for staff and parents to support student progress
