Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility) recognized by the state board
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and adapt to diverse student needs
- Enthusiasm for fostering student independence and participation in daily school activities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments, evaluations, and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Implement interventions to support students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support students’ overall success
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Provide insights and training for school personnel on best practices in Occupational Therapy
