You’ll have the opportunity to deliver assessments, develop targeted intervention plans, and work hands-on with students to help them achieve their fullest potential. This rewarding, full-time role spans 37.5 hours per week during the school year, allowing you to actively engage with a diverse student body and help them navigate daily challenges with confidence.
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Current Washington state OT license, or eligibility to obtain
- Recent experience providing OT services in a school or pediatric setting
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents in an educational setting
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and interpret results
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Collaborate with special education teams and classroom teachers
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and goal development
- Provide direct therapy in one-on-one and small group settings
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
- Educate staff and families on strategies and accommodations
