Occupational Therapist School Setting in Elma, WA

Make a difference in the lives of students by bringing your expertise as a school-based Occupational Therapist to a full-time contract role for the 2026-27 academic year. Located near Elma, WA, this onsite position offers the chance to positively impact learners, collaborating closely with educators and supporting staff to ensure every child thrives in a supportive environment.

You’ll have the opportunity to deliver assessments, develop targeted intervention plans, and work hands-on with students to help them achieve their fullest potential. This rewarding, full-time role spans 37.5 hours per week during the school year, allowing you to actively engage with a diverse student body and help them navigate daily challenges with confidence.

What we’re looking for:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (OT)
• Current Washington state OT license, or eligibility to obtain
• Recent experience providing OT services in a school or pediatric setting
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents in an educational setting

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and interpret results
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
• Collaborate with special education teams and classroom teachers
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and goal development
• Provide direct therapy in one-on-one and small group settings
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
• Educate staff and families on strategies and accommodations
