Key Qualifications:

• Hold a current Occupational Therapist license (Virginia)
• Experience in school-based settings preferred
• Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus
• Proficient in addressing both fine and gross motor skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans
• Excellent communication skills; able to collaborate with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Passion for working with students from early childhood through high school

Responsiblities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of motor, sensory, and functional abilities
• Create and implement targeted treatment plans and IEP goals
• Deliver engaging therapy sessions, both individually and in groups
• Partner with educators, families, and other specialists to support students’ progress
• Keep thorough documentation and adjust interventions as needs evolve
• Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insight and recommendations
