School Occupational Therapist | Enfield, New Hampshire

Step into a rewarding summer opportunity providing skilled occupational therapy support to students during their Extended School Year (ESY) program. This contract position runs from July 6 to July 31, with a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 12 pm. You'll play a vital role in helping students achieve their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in a collaborative and supportive environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver both direct and consultative occupational therapy services as specified in student IEPs.
• Apply evidence-based interventions to support students’ fine motor skills, self-care routines, sensory regulation, and classroom participation.
• Maintain clear and timely documentation, including session notes, progress updates, and service records in accordance with all district and legal standards.
• Work closely with special education teachers, related service providers, and caregivers to ensure continuity in support services.
• Adapt activities and materials, tailoring interventions to individual student strengths and needs.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active state Occupational Therapy license.
• Demonstrated experience in school-based OT services is required.
• Strong understanding of IDEA legislation and the IEP development process.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams and families.
